One of the most controversial debates in culinary history, the argument of whether pineapple belongs on pizza easily divides a room and creates a heavily opinionated debate.
Personally, I love pineapple on pizza! This sweet and salty combo allows for the pineapple to add a pop of sweetness and enhances the simple flavour profile of pizza. Additionally, this exotic fruit is filled with Vitamin C, potassium, and fibre which makes eating this indulgent meal actually good for you.
Even our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau votes for this Canadian invention.
Love it or hate it, when it comes to pineapple of pizza, to each their own. Either way, pineapple is here to stay!
